The Holistic Medical Center presents Sneha
– Traditional Ayurveda Massage Training program to be conducted
by Dr. Prerak Shah. This one week intensive residential training program
is being held every year from October to February at The Holistic
Medical Center, Ahmedabad, India.
Dr. Prerak Shah will share the practical experience and knowledge
of ayurvedic traditional massage with the participants of this program,
which deals with various aspects of massages in day today health problems
like arthritis, joint pains, stiff joints, obesity, neurological conditions,
abdominal distress, beauty problems and much more. This program will
also include hands-on practical training in various aspects of Ayurvedic
/ Panchkarma treatments. |

Field Training Program in forest- “Aushadha”
|
Field Training at Rajpipla,
Gujarat, India Gujarat state is on the west coast of India, having
fascinating archaeological sites, superb Jain and Hindu and Islamic
architecture, exquisite crafts and rare wildlife, including Asiatic
lion, are among Gujarat´s attraction. People are hard working
and enterprising. |

Our training is mainly located at Rajpipla,
is district head quarter of Narmada district. |
 |
Rajpipla is surrounded by several forest
areas, viz. Karjan forest area, Dediyapada forest area and Dang forest
area. It is very interior part of the state and not considered as
developed area. |

Nearby forest area is consisting of aprox.
700 types of species. Out of them more then 200 kind of species are
used for health. It can be divided in trees, shrubs, plants,
screeprs
etc. |

 |
People – tribal of this area is very
poor and not enjoying modern facilities, but they are having traditional
knowledge of herbs and their usages. |
| |
 |
The faculty for your training may consist
of very learned teachers from the fields of Ayurvedic, as well as
modern pharmacognosy departments. |

You will also enjoy the live experience
with herbs, plants and trees with real practical knowledge about their
usages and classical references. |

Same way some time your visit will be
scheduled at nearby Ayurvedic formulation production unit. Where one
can personally watch and learn the formulations and production of
various Ayurvedic classical products. This unit is producing several
products. Viz, tablets, powders, oils, ghees, kwaths, extracts etc.
Above
all for your entertainment during this training program some activities
can be planned. Like visit to dam site, visit to tribal people in
nearby village, cultural programs like traditional dance, music etc. |

| Ahmedabad is 7th
largest city of India. It is in north to Mumbai, and takes aprox. 50
min flight time. Ahmedabad is having international airport. You can
directly fly to Ahmedabad from NY, London, Paris, Singapore with Air
India, Jet Airways, Singapore Airlines etc. If you fly to Mumbai
first, then from Mumbai there are 6 airlines flying to Ahmedabad
daily, nearly 25 flights daily. |

small center is neat and clean, offering
treatments/ training with high standards by trained and experienced
